What You Can Expect
Written Assessment Before Work Begins
You receive a condition report outlining what we found and what we propose. Nothing is actioned without your agreement. This is standard practice for us, not a premium add-on.
Component-Level Service
Our overhaul means full disassembly. We do not clean the exterior and call it serviced. Every pivot, jewel, and spring receives direct attention.
Small Workshop, Individual Attention
We limit the number of pieces in service at any time. Your watch is not one of hundreds — it is one of a small number receiving focused work.

Depth of Horological Knowledge
The watchmakers at Horotempus have worked across Swiss, Japanese, and European movement calibres. This breadth matters when diagnosing unfamiliar issues or sourcing components for discontinued references.

Our head watchmaker trained in Switzerland and has spent over two decades on mechanical movements. That accumulated experience informs every assessment and every decision made in the workshop.
We use ultrasonic cleaning equipment, timing machines for regulation, and precision measurement tools. These are not optional upgrades — they are part of how we do the work.

Workshop Tools and Methodology
Good tools matter in watchmaking. Ultrasonic cleaning removes debris from pivot holes that manual methods cannot reach. Timing machines give objective data on regulation. We invest in both.

Your watch does not pass through a courier network. It comes directly to our workshop from your hands and returns the same way. This eliminates a significant source of risk for valuable pieces.

We do not scale to high throughput. Our team takes on a manageable number of pieces at any time, which means yours receives proper attention and is not worked on under pressure.
Climate-Aware Service
Malaysia's humidity and heat affect mechanical movements differently than cooler climates. Our service recommendations account for local conditions, including lubricant choices and service intervals.
Period Parts Sourcing
For vintage restoration, we maintain relationships with parts suppliers and horological networks that allow us to source period-appropriate components — a capability most general repairers do not have.
