to Timekeeping

Signs worth noting include irregular timekeeping, a mainspring that winds but loses power quickly, visible moisture inside the crystal, or service records older than five years. We are happy to assess your piece and share our findings before recommending any course of work.

The movement is fully disassembled. Each component is ultrasonically cleaned and inspected under magnification. Worn parts are addressed, appropriate lubricants are applied at each contact point, and the movement is reassembled and timed. You receive a written summary of the work performed.

Vintage projects vary considerably. Sourcing period-appropriate parts may take time, and the dial assessment phase involves careful consultation. A typical restoration project takes between 8 and 16 weeks. We discuss this with you at the outset so expectations are clear.

We work on a wide range of Swiss, Japanese, and European mechanical timepieces — both modern and vintage. If you are unsure whether your watch falls within our scope, please reach out and we will advise you honestly.

Service pricing is listed on our Solutions page. Mechanical overhaul begins at RM 2,200, crystal replacement at RM 950, and vintage restoration at RM 3,800. Complex or unusual cases may require individual quoting. We will always confirm the scope and cost before work begins.

Pieces are stored securely at all times in our Jalan Sultan Ismail workshop. We handle a small number of watches concurrently, which allows us to give each piece careful attention and minimise handling risk.
